FIREWORK DISPLAYS

We do outdoor fireworks for all events, including weddings, birthdays, parties, corporate events, school fetes, community events, charity fundraisers.

We certainly do, however, it is important to keep in mind fireworks on water are more expensive, due the fact we have to hire a barge, use extra crew, and obtain an Aquatics License for the event from Transport for NSW / Maritime. It is important to note that obtaining the Aquatics License from Maritime will take a minimum of 6 weeks to process.

The legislation requires us to have 50 meters in every direction from the firing site, clear of people and property.

Providing there is sufficient space to conduct the fireworks display safely, this may be possible. In smaller spaces we can use Close Proximity Pyrotechnics, which are typically used at sporting event, stage productions, concerts, and theatrical shows.

The more notice the better, however, we required at least 7 business days’ notice in order to complete all legislative requirements.

Once you have contacted the team at DazzleFX, we will review aerial photographs of the proposed site, to ensure the fireworks display can be conducted safely, while conforming to all legal requirements. We will then typically undertake a site visit, to ensure there are no safety issues, and to discuss your requirements, and the various options available. Once a deposit has been paid, we will then proceed with obtaining all the necessary permits and approvals, as well as ensuring all required parties and neighbouring properties will be notified, prior to the proposed fireworks display. One month prior to the fireworks display, we require the balance to be paid in full. One the big day, you can sit back and enjoy the spectacular fireworks display, while our crew takes care of all the necessary activities required to conduct the fireworks display.

Owners approval is required in writing, and we normally ask the event organiser to obtain this well in advance of the proposed fireworks display.

Council approval is not required, however, we are required to notify the local Council at least 7 days prior to the proposed fireworks display. Council may impose a number of conditions, which we are legally required to adhere to, or they may object to the fireworks display all together, in which case it cannot proceed.

All neighbouring properties must be notified of the proposed fireworks display, which is normally undertaken by us. In some cases, for large community events, this will be done by the event organisers, as there may be other important pieces of information that also need to be conveyed to the local residence.

Close proximity fireworks are manufactured pyrotechnic devices or articles designed for use near performers, spectators, or others involved in the event. These fireworks may be used indoors (such as in a theatre, entertainment centre or club) or at outdoor venues (such as sporting arenas or outdoor stages).
